Responsibilities
Management Accounting with Impact
Prepare monthly management accounts that tell the story behind the numbers
Deliver insightful variance analysis and commentary that highlights what really matters
Create financial reports and dashboards that drive action and inform decision-making
Own the month-end process while continuously looking for ways to add more value
True Business Partnering
Roll up your sleeves and work alongside operational teams to understand their challenges
Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance colleagues
Be proactive in identifying risks, opportunities, and areas for improvement
Support strategic projects and business cases with robust financial analysis
Strategic Planning & Forecasting
Lead the budgeting process in collaboration with department heads
Build forecasts that reflect the real dynamics of the business
Provide early warning systems and scenario planning to help navigate challenges
Support long-term strategic planning with commercial insight
Continuous Improvement
Question existing processes and champion better ways of working
Drive efficiency improvements across finance and the wider business
Support system enhancements and digital transformation initiatives
Share your knowledge and help develop the finance function
Requirements
About You
Essential Qualifications & Experience
CIMA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
Solid management accounting experience in a hands-on, commercial role
Strong technical accounting knowledge with excellent Excel skills
Experience working with accounting software and ERP systems
